Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LeanerCloud (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit leanercloud.com.

Who we are

LeanerCloud provides AWS cost optimization services. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@leanercloud.com. Our full legal entity and postal address are listed in our Impressum.

What we collect and why

Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Loaded only after you accept non-essential cookies. It collects pageviews, approximate location (derived from a truncated IP), device and browser type, and how you move through the site, so we can understand and improve it. Google Consent Mode v2 keeps analytics and advertising storage denied until you consent.

Session analytics (Mouseflow). Loaded only after you accept non-essential cookies. It records anonymised interaction data such as clicks, scrolls and mouse movement, and aggregated heatmaps, to help us improve usability. Keystroke logging is disabled.

Live chat (Crisp). Our chat widget loads so you can message us. If you start a chat, Crisp processes the messages you send and any contact details you choose to provide, so we can respond.

Contact and booking. If you use our sign-up form (Google Forms), our booking link (Calendly), or email us, we process the details you submit to respond and, where relevant, to provide our services.

Essential storage. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage under cookie_consent. This remembers your preference and is not used for tracking.

  • Consent for analytics and session-analytics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” button.
  • Performance of a contract or steps prior to it, and our legitimate interests, for responding to enquiries and providing our services (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Processors and third parties

We use the following providers, acting as processors or independent controllers for the features above: Google (Analytics, Forms), Mouseflow, Crisp, Calendly, and Amazon Web Services (hosting via S3 and CloudFront, which processes standard server request logs). Some may process data outside the EU/EEA; where they do, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep analytics data subject to each provider’s retention settings, and chat and enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, contact contact@leanercloud.com.

Cookies

Essential storage (your consent choice) is always active. Non-essential cookies (analytics, session analytics) are set only after you accept them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of the page.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
